The go cart was a project that about ten of us on our street did last minute & raised $ 5,600.00 for Duke Children's Hospital cancer research.  It took three months to complete.  We won two awards, best team spirit & best uniforms.  The race had 24 cars involved and we finished in the top five (fifth) when it ended.  Our slogan was "little cars helping little kids".
